The Founding Fathers did build that....
The United States of America was NOT built on Judeo-Christian values. America was built on the natural rights of man and the Enlightenment, which the bible - old and new testaments- certainly do NOT respect. Slavery, genocide and driving people from their land in the old testament; in the new testament acceptance of slavery and one's lot in life. Take no thought for the 'morrow; no ambition; no resistance to evil. How did we become a country that beat the most powerful military on Earth? Not by turning the other cheek, but by VIOLENCE. The rights of man do NOT derive from some fictional bronze-age and iron-age mythologies. Quite the opposite. All quotes by the founders regarding providence and god was merely ceremonial deism. Thomas Jefferson and Thomas Paine were no church mice. ☝ The Founders and Religion...
